About Adobe Audition

Editors Review
Adobe Audition may be positioned as an audio editing suite, but its extensive array of features make it more like a DAW. The audio restoration features are some of the most effective that we've ever seen in an automated feature of that kind, and the ability to daisy-chain several effects and reverbs together easily is a great plus. Unfortunately, the VSTi and MIDI support that were present in earlier versions is nowhere to be found, preventing Audition from becoming a true DAW.
Adobe Audition is an audio-editing tool developed by Adobe for Windows and Mac OS.

Adobe Audition makes use of the customizable work space layouts and interfaces for which Adobe CC products are well-known. This makes it very easy to do anything from simple cuts and splicing to complex audio editing operations.

While posed as an audio-editing tool, Adobe Audition comes with plugins and features that make it resemble a digital audio workstation like FL Studio or Mixcraft. It has a complete mixer that allows for the adjustment of several tracks at once, comes with extremely competent audio restoration features, and allows for the recording of multiple input sources at once.

Adobe Audition supports a wide variety of audio file formats and codecs, which can be managed through a well-designed Media Browser interface. Each file can be scrubbed through and previewed right in the Media Browser before being placed in the timeline.
