About Adobe Reader

Editors Review
Adobe Reader is fast and effective, and comes with a whole host of new features like tabbed viewing and special tools for annotation and reviewing. Many of these tools are locked behind an Acrobat Pro DC paywall, but what does come free is good enough for most users. Adobe Reader's rendering remains as good as it always has, and its stigma of not being as fast as other readers is no longer true, having improved performance with the latest update.
Adobe Reader is a free tool from Adobe Systems that is designed for viewing and annotating PDF files.

Like Foxit PDF Reader, Adobe Reader can view any PDF file and comes with tools to enhance reading, such as auto-scroll, various reading modes, and Read Out Loud, which uses a text to speech engine to narrate text on a PDF document.

Adobe Reader can also export PDFs to various file formats, such as .docx and .rtf.

With Adobe Reader, users can fill up PDF forms as well as add comments, annotations and digital signatures on any PDF document. They can also send the documents with the intent to have it signed or tracked.

The latest version of Adobe Reader comes with tabbed viewing, allowing users to view multiple documents from within the same Adobe Reader window. It also comes with apps and tools that can enhance the viewing, revision and annotation process.
